Fall

One of our favorite things to do as a family has always been to take a drive and look at the fall leaves and take pictures. We are so fortunate to have the mountains in our back yard. We got a late start and they are doing road work on the Gooseberry Road, so we didn't make it too far up, but we did stop and have dinner at Brown's Hole. Erick and Jordan were even nice enough to let me take pictures of them.

It's Official

It is official, I have a new little brother. Yesterday Salena and Luke got married. It was out to Maple Grove, the leaves are just changing and it was beautiful. Luke was nervous about all of the people, but he did great. Salena looked gorgeous in her dress. It was a great day. I took over 130 pictures, and they will be posted on her blog. These are a few of my favorites My family just before the wedding: My Dad and his wife Maryanne, Salena, Me and My mom

During the ceremony. Ashlynne was the Maid of Honor and the Best "man".

Truck Show

Richard's dad is involved in the annual truck show that is put on at the Robinson's building. They have a dinner and raffle that we attend with them. I put Jordan in charge of the camera, and she takes almost as many pictures as I do (hence another slide show). She took pictures of her favorite trucks as well as the family. The dinner was really good and Jordan won 2 hats, and a shaker of Real Salt. Erick won a car duster and a shaker of Real Salt. Just our luck they would win something we already have a ton of :o)

Lake Powell

Richard & I had the opportunity to spend the last 5 days at Lake Powell (thanks Redmond Minerals). What a breathtaking place. It should be one of the 7 wonders of the world. It is so beautiful. We had a great time, we jetskiied and explored some fun canyons. We took a 115 mile sightseeing trip. We spent an entire day kneeboarding, wakeboarding, waterskiing and tubing. We ate great food and had fun company. Who could ask for more?

From Shag to Mullet

For a while Erick has been entertaining the idea of getting his hair cut into a mullet. I told him he had to wait until after family pictures, well last Sunday we had family pictures and before we had even left Maple Grove, he had made up his mind that he wanted a haircut. Well, Richard & I were going to Lake Powell this last week and he was insistant that he could not wait until the next week, so I made him an appointment with Vicki Averett on Wednesday with the instruction that if he didn't like it he would call her and she would just cut it all off. Well, he sent a text picture to me and said that he loved it. In fact Julie Anderson's daugter Kenzie sent her the same picture that Erick had sent me a few hours earlier. It had the caption "the mullet is back". It was so funny that the picture had made it's way to Lake Powell within hours.
